This truly magical festival will delight and inspire the young and young-at-heart with shows full of excitement, music, colours, innovation and fun. A forest creature going on an adventure, stunning dancers on stilt, a magic show with a twist… there’ll be something for every taste.

And this year, the festival opens with a special Family Fringe weekend at the National Museum of Scotland with performances and free drop-in activities all day – perfect for 0-12 year olds. Find out more here.

The festival is recognised around the world as one of the best place to see children’s theatre and dance of the highest standard and discover new talents.

This year we were delighted to welcome companies from Scotland, Germany, Australia, England, New Zealand, Belgium, Poland, Northern Ireland, the Netherlands, Spain and Norway.
