How to apply

Places are free, but limited, so please email us at applications@imaginate.org.uk (with Making for the troupe in the subject title) with a short description of your practice and your interest in accessibilty & theatre and dance for young audiences. Places will be booked in order of application so there is no deadline.

Wondering how you could include disabled people in your work? Not sure where to begin? Come and share your artistic skills and dreams and get some new ideas about how to create work based on who's in the room. This practical workshop will result in us making a small piece in the time we are together to allow you to see the principles in action.

Caroline Bowditch is a performance artist and choreographer with years of experience in working to improve accessibility and inclusivity within the arts. She is currently leading the project Weren't you expecting me? with Imaginate exploring the visibility of disabled performers in performance for young audiences.

This workshop is presented as part of our Weren't you expecting me? project and in association with Platform, Glasgow. Platform is an accessible venue, more details can be found here.
