The key aims of this programme are:

• To provide opportunities for established artists to fulfil their potential and to continue their learning and professional development for the benefit of young audiences.
• To improve standards in provision and practice of performing arts for children and young people through state-of-the-art training programmes and encouraging the sharing of good practice and skills and their development across the sector. To assist in the development of a clear-cut career infrastructure in the performing arts for children and young people to attract more professionals to the sector.
