Imaginate is working with the education sector to explore ways of increasing the value attached to the use of performing arts in schools. As part of this, Imaginate recently ran a professional development programme for teachers and cultural co-ordinators and developed the following resources:

A Stage Further ... Planner for Schools 2007-08
Used by Imaginate at the Imaginate Festival and Tour, the following equipment is available to hire:
- Child sized seating bank
- Floor cushions
- Blacks with stands and bars
- This equipment is designed to be flexible enough to transform a school gym or community hall into a temporary theatre space.
- Funded by the National Lottery, this equipment is available to companies touring Scotland in non-theatre venues.
- Priority rates and booking is given to those staging performances specifically for a children's audience.
