"Other festivals may
be coming to Edinburgh this year, but for primary
schools and families one that really matters
is the Children’s International Festival
sponsored by the Bank of Scotland"

The
Man Who Planted Trees
This
is a man with a mission! With his trusty dog
at his side, a shepherd struggles against
the odds to transform a barren, lonely landscape
into a beautiful, vibrant forest. Share their
trials and tribulations, their joy and their
tears, listen to the wind, feel the rain,
smell the lavender and the fresh woodland
breeze!
A uniquely memorable blend of comedy, puppetry
and inspiring storytelling, The
Man Who Planted Trees, an adaptation
of Jean Giono’s wonderful environmental
tale, bowled over children and adults alike
in the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe.
