We are recruiting for a part time Digital Marketing Coordinator to manage and enhance Imaginate’s social media presence, year-round and during the Festival, creating and delivering inspiring content across our channels, to reach and engage with existing and new audiences.
This exciting opportunity requires someone with an eye for a story who can capture, edit and create content.
Contract terms: Permanent part/time contract. Following the cyclical nature of the Festival, the role is part time,
3 days a week (Jan-June) and 2 days a week (July-December). Flexibility in July and August is also possible subject to negotiation.
Salary: £28,000 p.a. pro-rata (plus 5% employer contribution to pension). Freelance contract could be considered (subject to negotiation if appointed).

Key Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement the social media plan for Imaginate and the Festival.
- Create engaging and accessible photo and video content for posting on Imaginate’s social media platforms and on the website.
- Ensure content is edited to create a consistent and effective online brand.
- Ensure Imaginate’s year-round activities are regularly featured on social media platforms and website.
- Between March-May, increase content and engagement with family audiences ahead of the Festival.
- Plan, implement and evaluate paid search and online advertising campaigns.
- Plan, monitor and measure the impact and reach of all social media activities.
- Keep abreast of developments and algorithms on social media to improve Imaginate’s presence and influence online.
- Develop partnership opportunities online including with other arts organisations, bloggers and influencers.
- Support the delivery of key media events including press launches and photo calls.
- Manage the distribution of print for the Festival and Festival on tour.
- Line manage a student placement
- Help support the Head of Marketing in delivering Imaginate’s marketing and audience development plan.
