Afton Moran

Afton Moran (They/Them) is a non-binary actor based in Edinburgh, most recently appearing in the award-winning show Sex Education Xplorers (S.E.X.) by Mamoru Iriguchi at Summerhall during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2021.

As a trans-masculine theatre maker, Afton’s work focusses predominantly on identity, representation and education.

Their Film/TV credits include; Angus in 68 Months in Waiting as part of Scenes For Survival (National Theatre of Scotland/BBC), Pan in Ghost Light (National Theatre of Scotland), What I Know Now (BBC Social, dir. Simon Fox).

Their Theatre credits include; Afton in Sex Education Xplorers (Independent Arts Projects), Ebb in Ebb and Flow (Page2Stage Edinburgh), The Full Spectrum Experience (dir. Izzie Kerr), 8:8 (Mercimax/Swiss Arts Council).

They hold a BA(Hons) in Drama and Performance from Queen Margaret University.
