Bridie is a dance artist making works for the stage, screen and site-specific locations. She seeks to create dance work of purpose and relevance which is accessible to a wide-ranging audience, fusing elements of humour with different choreographic styles and traditions. 

After graduating from The Northern School of Contemporary Dance (2012), Bridie moved to Berlin where she continued developing her choreographic practice, and where her work ‘BIM BAM BUM’ was awarded the title of ‘The Best German Dance solo’ at Euro Scene Leipzig (2013).

Since moving to Scotland in 2016 Bridie has had the opportunity to work with dancers of all ages and abilities, developing her skills in dance film as well as continued choreographic practice. Her dance film ‘Foul Fish’ was selected for Cinedans 2022, Amsterdam. She has extensive experience of working with young people including Lyra’s young company, Lothian Youth Dance Company, and Dumfries and Galloway Dance. She has been an Associate Artist with Dance Base and has for several years worked with the Junior Conservatoire at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
