I am a live artist and theatre maker based in Glasgow and have been creating and performing work for both children and adults since I graduated from Dartington College of Arts in 2001.

I make work that is both experimental and humorous, drawing on a range of performance styles and media to explore our lives as human animals.

I am Artistic Director of Fish and Game with whom I made and performed The Polar Bears Go Wild and The Polar Bears Go Up, a co-production with London’s Unicorn Theatre. I am also a freelance practitioner and support other people’s work as a performer, musician, facilitator, dramaturg and director.

Working with Imaginate

I was a research artist with Imaginate in 2015-2016, exploring gender, sexuality, queerness and difference in Theatre for Young Audiences. This research also filters into my work for adults and I have been touring my solo show, STUD, which explores masculinity in a queer female body.

You can find out more about this project on the Gendersaurus Rex blog.

I am now Lead Artist for the Gender Lab (30 January - 6 February 2017) as part of PUSH, a Creative Europe-funded project led by Imaginate.
