Lucas Chih-Peng Kao is a dance filmmaker and physical performer based in Edinburgh.
As a dance filmmaker, he has developed a body of work working with choreographer and dancers to make documentary, experimental narrative, music videos and installations.
In April 2017 he was one of the four artists to received the Megaphone residency to develop a multimedia performance “Catch Up with Self” about identity with choreographer Kai-Wen Chuang, mixing video and dance.
Since then he has been developing as a movement practitioner and performer using techniques from dance, contact improvisation and physical theatre.
