Currently in development for Niamh "An Fathach Mor" (The Big Giant) for ages 7+. This show is about the legend of the Giants Causeway and explores the themes of home, co-operation and adventure. This began as a part of Scottish Youth Theatres ‘Making Space’ mentorship. During this I was mentored by Glasgow-based Director Drew Taylor. The resulting Scratch performance was shared at part of the Rep Stripped Festival in Dundee. This has since been supported by a week-long residency in CityMoves, Aberdeen.
Niamh has a special love of teaching. She has taught classes for Scottish Dance Theatre, CityMoves Dance Agency, The Space, Shaper/Caper and Byre Youth Theatre, designing classes for all ages and levels with a focus on fun and creativity. She was also lead artist on Creative Movement for MS with Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust.
Niamh is currently a part of DEBS program 2019/20 at Dance Base, Edinburgh mentored by Angus Balbernie.
