As part of her Artist in Residence post with Renfrewshire Leisure and Imaginate, Clare McGarry is hosting a play day to explore sensory materials and devising creative responses to the themes of her new performance, Cosmopot.
This day is open to theatre makers, choreographers, musicians and visual artists; a chance to play in a room with other artists, meet new collaborators and think about good practice in inclusive work.
Over the day we will:
- play with a wide range of sensory materials
- create mini responses and devise narratives around sensory materials
- collaborate with other artists
- consider performer/audience relationship when using sensory materials
- discuss best practise for inclusive work and appropriate levels of interaction in performance

Taking the teapot constellation of Sagittarius as inspiration, Cosmopot is a multi-sensory show suitable for all children aged 5-8 years old.
