We are looking to commission three new theatre and dance performances for children 0-10 years and their families, that are suitable for presentation in public spaces, in partnership with Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA), Glasgow life and Renfrewshire’s OneRen. You are welcome to apply for one or all commissions.

These commissions are open for application from artists, companies and freelancers based in Scotland who would like to experiment with new ideas. The work will be performed in noisy public spaces, so short or pop-up performances that are non-verbal, dance, visual theatre, walkabout or durational performances tend to work best. These commissions are to support the development of new work so the idea that you’re applying with should not have been fully produced and toured before although work that has been scratched or presented as a work-in-progress is eligible.
