Go & See Fund - covid update

As there are limited opportunities to see live performances at the moment, we will make this funding available to pay for tickets to watch online performances or attend online events that are useful for you.

Our Go & See Fund is open to everyone that is involved in making things happen in the young audiences sector in Scotland can see high quality performances, including performance makers, production staff, composers, designers, and producers. We cover the costs of tickets in the hope that this removes some of the barriers for freelance staff to see work that inspires them.  If you have access needs that require further funding, do let us know.

Beyond covid

Our Go & See Fund has been running for many years now and we fully intend to keep it going in the future.

What we do fund:

  • the cost of tickets to see performances in Scotland
  • travel costs if you live outwith the central belt

What we can’t fund:

  • international visits
  • applications from artists who are not based in Scotland
  • workshops and courses or other professional development activities

Edinburgh International Children's Festival
We are especially keen to make seeing performances and attending Delegate Events at the Children's Festival accessible for everyone who works in the sector.  We do this by creating a day-long Professional Development packages for the sector each year and by offering Go & See funding to cover the costs of tickets.  If you are based in Scotland and want to attend a future festival, contact Fiona Ferguson, Creative Development Director when the Festival programme is launched, or if you have any questions about Go & See now.
