A special note for Children's Festival 2019
Small Wonders by Punchdrunk is doing a special 3-week run, if you would like to attend please don't buy a public ticket unless you are going with children as the company do not allow adults to attend alone. There are however, a limited number of tickets for festival delegates with availability between now and 24 May - register as a delegate and we will cover the cost of the ticket.
Go & See Fund
Our Go & See Fund is open all year so that those who are involved in making things happen in the young audiences sector in Scotland can see high quality performances, including makers, production staff, composers, designers, and producers. We cover the costs of tickets in the hope that this removes some of the barriers for freelance staff to see work that inspires them.
What we do fund:
- the cost of tickets to see performances in Scotland
- travel costs if you live outwith the central belt
What we can’t fund:
- international visits
- applications from artists who are not based in Scotland
- workshops and courses or other professional development activities
Edinburgh International Children's Festival
We are especially keen to make seeing work at the Children's Festival accessible for everyone who works in the sector. We do this by creating a day-long Professional Development package for the sector each year and by offering Go & See funding to cover the costs of tickets. If you are based in Scotland and want to attend festival, please get in touch so we can ensure you are registered as a delegate with access to our programme of free delegate events in addition to the performances.
