Noel Jordan, Imaginate
Festival Director
- 2019 will be Noel’s third programme as Festival Director of the Edinburgh International Children’s Festival.
- He joined the team in October 2015 from Australia where he had worked in Theatre for Children and Young People for almost 30 years.
- Noel has extensive experience as a producer, director, actor-devisor and drama educator and worked at Sydney Opera House where he curated the House:ed and Kids at the House annual youth programs from 2004-2011.
Jemima Levick, Stellar Quines
Director of This Girl Laughs…
- Jemima is Artistic Director and Chief Exec of Stellar Quines and was previously Artistic Director at Dundee Rep Theatre.
- She is a successful director based in Scotland and has won a number of awards. Some of her more recent work includes All My Sons at Dundee Rep, Bingo! which toured Scotland in 2018 and The Lover at The Lyceum Theatre.
- She works to provide opportunities for women and girls to work in theatre and is a strong advocate of gender equality within the arts.

Peter Higgin, Punchdrunk
Co-director of Small Wonders
- Peter Higgin was a core part of Punchdrunk’s immersive theatre revolution from its beginning in 2000
- Punchdrunk Enrichment has pioneered a game changing form of theatre in which roaming audiences experience storytelling inside theatrical worlds, which the company has created.
- His experiences of being a teacher and taking pupils to see the company's work inspired him as he felt the impact was palpable and transformational.
Toby Thomson
Creator and performer of I Wish I was a Mountain)
- Toby is a performance poet based in London.
- At just 16 his poem was performed to a selected audience including Kate Tempest and RSC’s Cicely Berry, and later at the Roundhouse Theatre and the House of Lords.
- He is currently an incubator scholar at the egg (Bath) where he was commissioned to create I Wish I was a Mountain.
- He was Glastonbury Slam Champion and the Pleasance Indie winner at the Fringe in 2018.
