What We Offer

Free ticket allowance and travel subsidy

Curriculum for Excellence

We provide information about the themes of the shows and the areas of the CfE which they relate to. You will find further details on the page for each show under the "Schools Information" button. You can also find other learning resources on our website.

Free digital resource: onTAP

Please make sure to use our new digital resource to facilitate discussions with children before and after a show. onTAP is a free and easy-to-use resource designed by teachers and artists, which you can use in the classroom to help pupils develop critical reflection skills, enhance their confidence and empower them to articulate their own opinions.

Accessibility

Imaginate has a strong commitment to accessibility and equality and we will try and accommodate all access requirements.

  • There are coach drop-off points near all venues.
  • All venues are wheelchair accessible but each have limited numbers of wheelchair spaces.
  • Some of our venues will have a dedicated relaxed quiet space.
  • Children with additional support needs can attend any of our performances but some shows are more suitable than others for those with complex needs.
  • Let us know if you have pupils with access needs (incl. visual or hearing impairments) so we can accommodate them.
  • A Festival volunteer will meet and assist all groups on arrival.
  • Relaxed performance: The Unlikely Friendship (Thu 4 June 13:45)
  • BSL performances: Boys Don't Dance (every performance)
  • Captioned performances: Boys Don't Dance (every performance)
