The 2025 Edinburgh International Children’s Festival is over and we hope you enjoyed it.
The 35th Festival enjoyed a busy year with 87% of all tickets sold and over 17,000 children and their families, school pupils and industry professionals flocking to venues across the city, to enjoy world-class theatre, dance and circus.
9,100 children, their teachers and families watched 13 shows over 9 days and 7,460 took part in the Festival Family Day at the National Museum of Scotland to celebrate the opening of the Festival.
We will be back next year between 30 May and 7 June 2026. In the meantime, you can enjoy the photos below which will give you a flavour of what happened.
