The 2026 Edinburgh International Children’s Festival is over and we hope you enjoyed it.
Thousands of children and their families, school pupils and industry professionals enjoying world-class theatre, dance and circus in venues across the city.
9,190 children, their teachers and families watched 15 shows over 9 days with thousands more taking part in the Festival Family Day at the National Museum of Scotland to celebrate the opening of the Festival.
We will be back next year between 29 May and 6 June 2027. In the meantime, you can enjoy the photos below which will give you a flavour of what happened.
