Playful Tiger is a highly physical, interactive dance performance, specially created for children and young people who are profoundly autistic and mainly non-verbal. A troubled family’s world turns upside down when a mischievous tiger visits. It’s chaotic, wild and brilliantly fun. Interacting directly with the audience Playful Tiger tells the story through the eyes of the child, with a focus on sensory engagement. Playfulness creates space for a two-way response between audience and performers.

A visual storyboard of the show will be provided to audiences a month before the performance.

remarkably bold and visionary... what really shines through is the generosity and constant awareness that the dancers show throughout the performance... with moments of partnering and even high, whirling lifts taking participants into the accessible joy implicit in every facet of Playful Tiger.” The Herald
