Imaginate Travel Subsidy
To help reduce your travel costs we also offer financial assistance for schools, nurseries and groups travelling to and from the Festival in one day.
- 100% refund of travel costs for special schools
- 70% refund of travel costs by coach for state nursery and schools
- 100% refund of public transport costs for state nursery and schools
Details of our travel subsidy scheme will be sent to you with your booking confirmation.

We provide information about the themes of the shows and the areas of the CfE which they relate to. You will find further details on the page for each show under the "Schools Information" button. You can also find other learning resources on our website.
onTAP
Please make sure to use our new free digital resource to facilitate discussions with children before and after a show. onTAP was developed by teachers and artists, and will help children develop critical reflection skills, enhance their confidence and empower them to articulate their own opinions.
Accessibility
Imaginate has a strong commitment to accessibility and equality. We welcome children from all backgrounds and abilities. To make your trip as smooth as possible, we offer the following:
- Accessible venues and coach drop-off
- Guides to meet and assist groups on arrival at all festival venues.
- Packed lunch eating areas are available on request at certain venues.
- Children with disability can attend any of our performances but some shows may be more suitable than others for children with complex needs. If you would like some advice, please contact Julian Almeida.
