We hope that you all had a restful summer and are excited to be coming back to school today. We certainly are looking forward to working with schools across Scotland, inspiring children and teachers through live performance! As well as our flagship Festival in May, our year-round programme includes long-term artists-led projects and residencies, and Theatre in Schools Scotland (TiSS), a national touring programme of high-quality performances specially designed for school settings, in partnership with National Theatre of Scotland.

The Autumn/Winter programme for TiSS is open for bookings and you can find all information on our website. The new programme sees the welcome return of Cloud Man which had its original schools tour curtailed due to Covid, an extended second tour of Going for Gold: Me and Linford Christie which was first off the TiSS blocks to great acclaim in 2022, and a brand new dance theatre performance, The Last Forecast, for younger primary school pupils. For the first time, TiSS is also touring MESS, a show exclusively for young people with complex additional support needs.
The productions have been designed specifically with schools in mind and are available throughout Scotland.
Cost is £500 + VAT per day which includes two performances for approx. 120-150 pupils (subsidy is available for small schools - contact us to discuss)
