Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival

The Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival takes place in Edinburgh in May and June each year. As the largest and most successful performing arts festival for children and young people in the UK, the Festival is a unique opportunity for school children and their teachers; families and industry professionals to see the best children’s theatre the world has to offer.

Next year's Festival runs from Monday 9 to Sunday 15 May 2011.

Each year the Festival presents around:

  • 14 Productions from the UK and abroad
  • 100 Performances for children aged between 0 and 16 years in theatres and arts centres in Edinburgh, attracting an audience of over 10,000
  • Festival Performances on tour throughout Scotland
  • Festival Performances in schools in Edinburgh and the Lothians

As part of the Bank of Scotland Imaginate Festival touring programme, we also presented Goodbye Mr Muffin for ages 6-10 at venues across Scotland in March 2010.
