We are delighted to be offering a free delegate day-package at Edinburgh International Children's Festival on Tuesday 30 May with the opportunity to spend the day with peers seeing work, attending delegate events and meeting each other.  This group will be hosted by dance artist Dorine Mugisha.

The delegate package is free, there are 8 places available that will be selected by a panel.  Delegate Registration is included in the package which means you can book for any other Delegate events for free during Festival (additional Festival shows are £12 each). You can read and download the delegate programme, including Festival shows and delegate events here.

In addition to meeting members of the Imaginate team you will see four productions and a work in progress:

10am - Yellow Canary (age 9+) by Glass Performance  at the Scottish Storytelling Centre
1pm - Black (age 12+) by Oulouy at Dance Base
4pm - So Far So Good by SUPERFAN at Assembly Roxy
6pm - Kish Kush by Teatrodistino at Lyceum Studio
8pm - NOHOMO work in progress by Dan Brown at Summerhall

The day will run from 9:45 to 21:00, you must be available for the full day.  If you are not available for the full day but would still like to see Festival performances, you can talk to us about Go & See funding instead. We have a separate budget for access costs so let us know if you need support with travel costs, child care costs, BSL translation or have other needs to be able to take part in the day.

This opportunity is open to artists and freelancers based in Scotland including production staff, designers, makers, playwrights, producers, sound designers and anyone who is involved, or would like to be involved, in the process of making, producing and presenting theatre and dance for young audiences. Priority will be given to applicants who have never been selected for this festival supported package before.
